Stingless Native Bees

Stingless native bees would have to be one of Australia's best kept secrets! These tiny little creatures are great pollinators, and also produce some of the most amazing honey you'll ever taste...just not much of it! Maybe 1-2 jars a year.

The two main species kept domestically are:

Tetragonula carbonaria (previously known as Trigona carbonaria)

Austroplebeia australis
